A starry night

A serene and restful night or a dark and enigmatic night?

The night is a place of the imagination and the unconscious that inspires artists. From the lullaby to the great musical works, composers explore the infinite aspects of this multiple night.

We no longer present Mozart's Little Night Music whose light and cheerful melodies evoke the sweetness of a starry evening; Schoenberg's Transfigured Night, for its part, is a poetic and captivating work inspired by a poem by Richard Dehmel. It tells the story of a love transformed by the magic of the night. You will also hear Schubert and Haydn, but it's a surprise!

Each work will be presented in a fun and accessible way, allowing children to understand the emotions behind the notes, to discover the beauty and mystery of the night through timeless works.

THE KING OF MAGICIANS

Wolfie is a young aspiring magician in the kingdom of Salzburg. He works tirelessly on his potions and spells in the hope of distinguishing himself with his master. Because Wolfie studies magic under the orders of Sigismond, the king of magicians.

Tired of anonymity in his school, the young man sets off on a magical, funny and eventful quest where he will meet the red dragon of Niebelung, a mute princess and even the king of mice.

Wolfie sets off to prove himself and return full of glory to his master. Will he succeed?

This musical tale on works by Mozart is adapted for young audiences from 6 years old, in verse, will be said, chanted, slammed by its author.

THE WOLF OF BROADWAY

Jack Bryant invites you to his Jazz club "the mocking bird" on the legendary avenue of Broadway! On this Halloween night, you will discover this character who vibrates for music and for his musicians, an elegant, sunny and funny showman. Jack will tell you his stories about his employees and his customers, his boundless love for a deceased singer: Cab Calloway.
Mr. Bryant is a whirlwind who dances, harangues and seduces everyone. His nickname is "the wolf of Broadway", he is known throughout the country.
His faithful barmaid will remind him that for Halloween, the world of spirits and the world of the living are one. That she can, thanks to very old magic spells, make him meet his idol.
Will Jack live his dream?
Could it be that the great Cab Calloway is visiting him tonight?
The Wolf of Broadway draws on the aesthetics, culture and jazz music of the 1950s and 1960s. It also pays homage to the musical comedy tradition of this legendary neighborhood. Works are drawn from the repertoire of this period but will also be accompanied by other classical movements according to the needs of the dramaturgy. The Wolf of Broadway is not a commented jazz concert.
It is a thrilling, magical and funny story that seeks multiple references
to create a unity. The main character is a ferryman, an interface between the children and the works performed because he welcomes them into his world.

Halloween, with its magic, ghosts and witches, captivates children's imagination. A program on this theme was a natural choice.

Halloween tales have fascinated young and old for centuries. They explore strong emotions such as fear, excitement and discovery, while allowing children to tame them. Through these stories, they learn to distinguish imagination from reality and to manage their emotions.

During a Halloween-themed concert, children can identify with the characters and experience thrilling adventures. Accompanied by music and stories, they release their fears and share their emotions with their loved ones.

THE ELIOTT CELLO INVESTIGATIONS

Eliott Cello is a young Englishman who knows all the good addresses of London in the fifties. He grew up with his grandmother Rosa, in the suburbs of the British capital. His parents had to go into hiding during the war, he has not seen them since he was very young.

But Rosa had done a remarkable job and Eliott had become an intelligent, resourceful, attractive and determined young man. For three years he has been traveling the city and Europe as a "musical detective". He searches for instruments, scores, musicians who are lost or in distress.

He is the only one to practice this profession because Elliott has a special gift inherited from his grandmother Rosa: Music speaks to him with words and helps him in his investigations.

Follow the adventures of young Eliott, the first creation of a musical tale in several seasons and travel with him through the incredible world of music.
